'VIATORIBUS'

The goal during this project was to design and model a unique automotive vehicle. There were many challenges along the way, lofts not working, zero thickness geometry, design complications etc. However, in the end I was able to reach the desired goal. I wanted to create an autocross/off-road vehicle like no other before. The vehicle is a one-seater, driver centric car, sitting on 3 30in tires and 21in wheels. Every component in the car was designed to focus on extracting the full ability of the driver with everything being engineered for the ultimate driving experience, everything from the seat, to the steering wheel, to the tires. This is; "viatoribus'.

TRI-SPOKE CUSTOM WHEELS

This tri-spoke wheel design was given a 21inch chrome 2 piece rim wrapped in 31-inch tires. Giving the driver the best driving experience whilst being very appealing.

DRIVETRAIN

A full drivetrain was designed for the vehicle, the only thing missing is a full suspension system. This included of multiple features and tools in SolidWorks. The design itself consists of an axle, 2 differentials, driveshaft and a timing belt. Wheel hubs were also created for the tire to attach to.

Racing Inspired Steering Wheel

Everything in this car was designed with the intent to provide the most driver centric vehicle. This steering wheel design is D-style inspired allowing to creating a piloting experience. With simplicity and minimalism being the goal with this steering wheel.

Rendered with PhotoView 360, the model was given life. Assigning material to certain components and deciding colorways. The end product is near perfect, a minimalist concept with strong accents.
