Pushing Design Boundaries
This was a light fixture designed by myself, Sam Mcilveen, and Carlie Besser. Our team goal was to create a light fixture that would be suitable to illuminate small spaces. Our solution was two 360° rotational shades which allows full customization to the user’s needs. ‘DOLIUM’s adaptive design provides the user with an industrial light that allows the display to be aesthetic with it on/off.
The goal in this project was to design a unique automotive vehicle. This project was not an easy one to say the least. There were many challenges along the way, lofts not working, zero thickness geometry, design complications etc. However, in the end I was able to reach the desired goal. I wanted to create an autocross/offroad vehicle like no other before. The vehicle is a one-seater, driver centric car, sitting on 3 30in tires and 21in wheels. Every component in the car was designed to focus on extracting the full ability of the driver with everything being engineered for the ultimate driving experience, everything from the seat to the steering wheel to the tires.
SMEG CONCEPT
We were tasked with designing a new concept for a kettle. I redesigned the iconic SMEG kettle and gave it an all over makeover. From using all new sustainable materials gave it a fresh new look, making it more appealing to the eye.
